About our practice
We’re friendly
Our reception team will give you a warm welcome on arrival. Each of our practitioners is assisted by an excellent dental nurse and the friendly and efficient practice management and reception team ensure you are made to feel at ease.
We’re well-equipped
Our premises, which consist of three fully equipped surgeries and two comfortable waiting area, are designed to provide you with a relaxed experience and to allow our clinicians to provide a quality range of treatments using the most modern equipment.
We’re responsible
As a responsible practice, we take all necessary precautions to safeguard both you and our staff against infections. We have a separate sterilisation room and follow current BDA guidelines on cross-infection control, including sterilisation of instruments and disposable items.
We’re convenient
We are based in Le Pollet, St Peter Port and the practice is located on the first floor, above White Stuff. There are a few steps up to the main entrance.

Dr Jose F Lavarello De La Cruz was born in Peru, South America and graduated with merit from Universidad San Luis Gonzaga, Peru in 2002 where he obtained his Dental Surgeon degree. He then moved to Spain and obtained his Licensiado En Odontologica from the European University of Madrid.
Jose moved to Guernsey in 2014 and joined Roseneath Dental Practice as an Associate Dentist, before buying the practice in November 2016. Jose enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially restoring teeth to a high aesthetic level, using the most up-to-date tooth-coloured restorative materials. JA qualified Smilelign provide, Jose has also received his dental implant qualification in March 2017, and has been successfully placing implants since.
Jose speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. In his spare time, he likes to play football, go running and spend time in his garden.
Mauro Becker

Mauro qualified in 2001 from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba Argentina, he worked in various Dental Practices in Spain after obtaining a Dental Surgeon Degree from the European University of Madrid, (UEM). He moved to Guernsey in 2013.
Mauro obtained qualifications in Orthodontics in 2009 (CEOSA) and he is particularly interested in Orthodontic Treatments for adults and children using the latest advanced techniques to obtain excellent outcomes undertaking Continuing Professional Development.
Mauro enjoys caring for his patients providing good quality dental treatment in a relaxed, gentle and friendly environment.
Mauro speaks English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
In his spare time, Mauro enjoys the gym and travelling when time allows.
Tiffany Mellor

Tiffany has worked in dentistry for many years and qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist at Kings College London in 2016. After graduating, she moved to Jersey for 7 months & ended up staying for 6 years! Since being introduced to Guernsey, Tiffany has fallen in love with the Island and moved over at the end of 2022. Her aim is to provide patients with the best oral health care and an all-round comfortable experience. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys exploring Guernsey and she is looking forward to attempting some cold water swimming!

Alison has been a dental nurse for 19 years, gaining her qualification in Dental Nursing in 2005 and has joined Roseneath in 2008.
Alison is very experienced Dental Nurse and enjoys all aspects of dentistry and especially likes helping anxious patients feel relaxed and at ease.
In her spare time, Alison enjoys supporting her youngest daughter in dance and having tap lessons herself.
